Since 1980, Pacific University’s Psychological Service Center has provided outpatient assessment and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in the Portland area. We are committed to making psychological services nondiscriminatory, affordable and accessible to all eligible clients. Our clinicians and supervisors are strongly committed to and interested in working with clients from diverse backgrounds including but not limited to ethnic, racial, socioeconomic, and sexual orientation. Currently, approximately 18% of the clients identify as being from an ethnic minority group or sexual minority group.

The Psychological Service Center is part of Pacific University’s School of Professional Psychology and is one of the main training sites for our doctoral psychology students and interns. Our therapists are advanced doctoral psychology students supervised by experienced, licensed psychologists.

The doctoral psychology program of the School of Professional Psychology at Pacific University is accredited by the American Psychological Association (www.apa.org). The predoctoral internship at the Psychological Service Center is also accredited by the American Psychological Association.
